If you’re a woman who wants to run — or wants to want to run — you’re already qualified.
You don’t need to be fast.
You don’t need fancy kit.
You definitely don’t need a marathon medal hanging in the hallway.
FitChic is open to:
- Complete beginners who’ve never joined a running group before
- Casual runners looking for company and motivation
- Returners getting back into fitness after a break
- Confident runners who enjoy the social side just as much as the miles
Groups are local, friendly, and usually based around parks, paths, and sensible meeting points — the sort of running that’s been keeping people fit for decades.

- Aggressive “bootcamp” styles
- Large, impersonal mass sessions
- Competitive-only racing clubs
- Sales-heavy fitness schemes
Plenty of places do those things well — FitChic simply isn’t one of them.
